Where do I begin?
Well, we got Jazzmine when she was about two or three months old, we were not sure. And back then, she was extremely small and slept all the time. She used to have very short legs.
We got her from a dog rescue when the original puppy we were going to look at got adopted.
Me and my siblings begged our mom for her - her name used to be Yeshna. But I changed it to Jazzmine with two Z's.
She was our first puppy that we ever kept - it was a few days after our older Beagle died when we got her.
Our older Beagle left a friend behind whose name is Daphne. Daphne was wary of the puppy at first when she'd run around and bounce all over the place. But soon Daphne learned to like her.
Being a border collie mix, Jazzmine is very smart. It took me about three days to teach her to sit, without any treats. She also knows how to stay, lay down and heel. And she now has the longest legs, they seem to be growing every day!
Jazz is definitely one of the fastest dogs I have ever seen. She already knows how to swim, I suppose it's instinctive for her. But she is great! Her ears are amazing too, she used to keep them stuck up in the air, but now they flop over. She can put them up in the air if she needs to, though.
Jazzmine is getting better and better every day now.
