Rufus is the latest addition to a family of four dogs and two humans. Although he is a bit timid when meeting new dogs and humans, he manages to overcome his fear for the sake of dog treats and playtime. So far, he managed to charm himself into the hearts of everyone he met.
Sadly, the breed "Großspitz" (Giant Spitz in English) that grows up to ~50cm / ~20in is on the verge of going extinct and wrongfully suffers from a reputation as aggressive barkers.
Little Rufus loves to explore his new world and especially enjoys pulling the leg (and tail) of his two-year-old Spitz buddy Gandalf. Other than that, it's remarkable how little trouble he makes and what a loveable addition he is to our family/pack. His loyalty and amiability makes it hard to imagine living without him now.
