When we first got Tootsie, she was smaller than your hand - she weighed only seven ounces and was really sick. The lady who we bought her from told us she was three weeks old and needed a home because her mom would not feed her and kept avoiding her to attend to her other puppies. We took her to the vet and she was sick,we got her on medication. It was really scary and sad but with a lot of food, medicine, snuggles and love she pulled through and now she weighs 11 pounds. She is really playful, loves snuggling with our other dog Toto, and most of all loves to dress up.
Tootsie does know some tricks such as sit pretty, speak, and back up just to name a few! She is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet! She is very shy, but loves to go places where she can meet other pets! She is super playful with our guinea pig Punkin, too. Her favorite game would have to be peek-a-boo!
Most of the time I forget Toostie is a dog, due to her baby-like behavior, such as drinking out of baby bottles, and her fussieness! She is very sassy. As I mentioned, she loves to dress up - she has an outfit for every day. She got used to wearing outfits when she was a sickly tiny puppy and needed the extra clothing for warmth. I think we all say it, but she is my little angel and I have been through a lot with her! I love her very much.
