Sammy adopted us as his family as soon as he met us on New Year's eve 2011. He was a rescue dog. Someone had tied him up and left him and he chewed his leash to get away. A friend found him in Long Beach, California walking along the main street with his chewed leash. Because of this, we are not certain of his breed, and think he's maybe part Boston Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier or who knows what else! His age is also a guess, he's probably six or seven years old.
He fell in love with us and we fell in love with him immediately! He sleeps with our youngest son every night. He protects us by barking at other dogs and people he doesn't know. He always barks when someone comes to the front door but those are the only time he barks. He loves to have his belly rubbed and he rolls over for almost anyone.
Sammy is a loveable member of our family and we love him very much!
