Ava Braun Ruby N. is a Diva, she loves getting petted and getting her hair brushed. She has personality to spare. She absolutely loves playing ball, but she loves her football! She also enjoys going to the DQ for a vanilla ice cream cone on a hot day! Ava loves her stuffed animals, going bye-bye in the car and her swimming pool!
I was wanting to get a German Shepherd for a long time. I got Ava on September 4, 2013. German Shepherds were always a the big part of my life especially my childhood. During my teen years, my family had a six at one time. My dad bred our Shepherd and course we could not part with any of the puppies! I loved them more than anything. My favorite was Cesar. He was a male whom I adored. He was hit by a car. It was the most dramatic event of my life. I still tear up when I think of him.
None of those dogs, however, were like Ava. She is the real character for sure. She has the soul of a five-year-old child. She needs lots of attention. She loves to play ball more than anything. She gets excited when I mention the Dairy Queen! She loves being touched. She will whimper if you stop petting her! Ava knows about 150 words and that is no lie. She is much work, but I would have it no other way. I have to spell out words in front of her. Ava holds a grudge if you promise her something, and you forget. If she meets you, once she will not forget you. Ava is the love of my life, and I can't imagine life without her.
