I found Elliott when he was just under one year old. He was running down the road like he didn't have a care in the world. He came to me when I called him and immediately stole my heart. I tried to find his owners and I tried to find him a permanent home, then I finally figured out that he was already right where he belonged.
I named him Elliott after my favorite actor, Sam Elliott, because they both share an impressive mustache and an impressive set of eyebrows. Both are handsome and sexy, and both seem to just take life as it comes to them. Did you notice that his right eye is half blue and half brown? He's just so adorable!
My little guy is really great with the other dogs in my home. I foster for a Boxer rescue, so he has had lots of Boxer friends in the year I've had him. We like to call him an honorary Boxer because he plays just like them and keeps up with their crazy energy with no problems.
Elliott is absolutely the most sweet and loving dog I know. He loves to come tearing into the house jumping into my lap and giving me a big, sweet hug and a little kiss before going back to the business of playing with the Boxers and slaying all of the bugs in the yard.
I never thought I'd have anything but Boxers, but Elliott has taught me that he can be a boxer too, so now I can't imagine life without my little Hell Hound. He's wild and crazy and full of trouble (which is why I often call him Helliott), but I love him more every day and I hope we have many, many years together to love our little man.
