Rafferty is our thirteen-year-old chihuahua. He is blind in one eye and has a cataract in the other, but he does not let that slow him down. He knows how to get around pretty well, though, he just follows my mom's scent. He has to be where she is at all times. He was a very playful pup, and his favorite treat is greenies!
Rafferty can be very quiet at times, since he is getting a bit older. He used to play only one game when he was a baby. My dad used to hold him and pretend to wind up his tail like a wind-up toy, he would then let Rafferty go and Rafferty would chase the rest of the dogs around the house for a while. Rafferty also enjoys trying to pretend that he is sitting, rather than actually sit all the way down, when my mom goes to give out treats. Rafferty is very affectionate, he enjoys visitors and our other pets. Rafferty has the personality of my mom. He will do anything that she does. We love him.
