This was my handsome boy Max, he won the first place in obedience in 2006. He was the best dog ever. We had to put him down on May 31, 2014, when he was 10 years old. I miss him so much!
He was very gentle with everyone especially with small children, he was a great watch dog too. He loved to play with Frisbees. One day I brought home a seven-week-old dachshund puppy, and I was little afraid he might not like her. Wow, I was so amazed by the way he reacted with her. He not only did not hurt her, he protected her and taught her, just the way a shepherd should. He was such a smart dog, and learned anything I tried to teach him, and retained the knowledge, too! I think of him daily. This is my tribute to him, I will love and remember him always,
