Stella happens to do cute things when I photograph her, such as looking at the camera in a lovely way or sleeping in the sun. She is a Huntaway, which is a New Zealand breed that was developed for sheep herding in the highlands here, though Stella is not a working dog.
Before we got Stella, we had another (naughtier) Huntaway dog named Pippa, and we decided to get another dog years after we gave Pippa away. The reason we got Stella was because my mother wanted another dog, so we bought her as a puppy, so we could make sure she got proper training. .She is affectionate with us, and gets really excited to meet other dogs and new people. Stella doesn't really know any tricks or games, and she tends to just lay around in the sun all day long. We love her!
