Willow is probably the sweetest, calmest and friendliest little dog you could possibly meet! She's my first dog and I cannot even describe how fantastic she is!
She rarely barks and is super gentle with infants and younger puppies. (Under supervision of course, I would never let any animal be alone with babies, no matter how nice it!)
Willow was and still is really easy to train, she learned "sit" just a few days after we got her home when she was eight weeks old. She also knows "stay," "dance," "down," "let go" and that she has to wait until I give her permission to eat/walking through doors. She is also a really good football player.
The story about how Willow came into my life goes like this: I've been allergic to dogs most of my life and still is, so I've never been able to own any dogs. But a few months ago, I decided that I would try with a nonshedding type of dog and make sure to do as much as possible to lessen my allergic reaction to my new pet (not letting it sleep in my bedroom, washing my hands after handling it etc). Then when it came to look for the right puppy, I saw the ad for Willow and her siblings. At first, I fell for one of her brothers, but the breeder told me that he was sold, so I started to considering Willow. After a short while, me and my family decided to visit the breeder and take a look at the puppies, who at that time were only four weeks old. Once there, I saw Willow laying on a dogbed next to her sibling's playpen. At first we were worried that she was ill, but after she woke up, she was completely fine and the most playful one of all of them and once I got to hold her, I was sold! I can't describe it, but once she was in my arms, I just knew that this was the dog for me!
It turns out that I was right and Willow is probably one of the best pets I've ever had and I cherish every moment with her! Everyone who meets her has all been charmed by her, even people who usually aren't that big fans of dogs. There may not be such a thing as "perfect dog" but to me, she's as close you can get!
