Benny is special because he is loyal to us, but loves everybody. We adopted Benny this year after losing our beloved dog Frankie to acute renal failure. When I saw Benny, he brought me his little green stuffed animal to the cage door before he was let out, and I knew this guy liked to have fun.
He was originally named Mick Jagger, and he was pretty overweight. His previous owner had only fed him table scraps and had relinquished him to the Humane Society when his owner became homeless. We love Benny, and feel so lucky to have him as part of our family. We also have a cat, four frogs and two fish. And Benny and the cat, Lloyd, get along fine.
