Zack is a Certified Pet Therapy Dog which, other than catching frogs in the pool and watching out for his younger 'sister' Abbye, means he has jobs he does and he takes them very seriously. It is his mission to go to the effort to visit with any people or dogs or cats or rabbits within his range of sight. As a CPA, Zack is part of the canine system at the Tulsa County Courthouse. There are six dogs in the program and their job is to be a close companion to children under 15 who must be an integral part of a case and testify. Not all cities have the program but it really works in a great way in Tulsa OK.
In addition to that job, Zack reads with third graders in Miss Clark's class at a local school and he visits our nearby nursing home, going in and out of about 60 private rooms to bring his friendly face and stand for a pat or cuddle. Smiles are usually seen when Zack enters the room. Otherwise he plays with Abbye or sleeps on his favorite couch. He is a very good boy, and we love him dearly.
