If you had had a chance to meet Tippy, you would have know what a cool dog he was. He was confident, friendly and calm. All the neighbor kids, in all of the neighborhoods we lived in, knew him and loved him. He was an ambassador for us ... we got to meet people from all walks of life because of his goodwill.
Tippy climbed mountains, swam in the ocean, fought coyotes and even a bobcat one time. He herded cows. He protected humans and other dogs from other aggressive dogs by herding the aggressive dog. His number one favorite activity was chasing the John Deere Gator out at our farm. Thank God that didn't translate into chasing cars. He went over the Rainbow Bridge in October at age fourteen and a half. He was a smart boy and a good boy. We even made a video with him. I miss him and I love Tippy, my old man, with all my heart.
