Blondie is the ray of sunshine in our lives. What a special dog, the "one" that comes along once in a lifetime for sure. Her love, affection and loyalty are amazing by any standards, canine or human.
She absolutely loves car rides (where she likes checking herself out in the side mirror while "cruising") and going camping. And like most dogs, she goes out of her mind for a ball playing session (squeaky Kong balls are her favorites). She has had a boyfriend down the street since she was six months old, a Maltese named Chico. Everyone on the street knows they are smitten when they casually run into each other on their daily walks.
Even though her name is Blondie, everyone calls her "Mama," and it just fits. She likes to cuddle too, always bringing her stuffed reindeer "Rudy" she got for a Christmas present years ago, dragging Rudy with her everywhere (including to bed with us and occasionally even trying to take him on walks. Perhaps to make Chico jealous). Every moment spent with "Mama" is an awesome experience, as she is blessed with loads of personality and love. She knows some good tricks too, including roll over, dancing, paw, and can pray at the side of the bed. And, oh, by the way, she's a rescue dog! So go out and rescue one like Mama today for yourself and more importantly, for them.
