This is a picture of my little dog, Nico. He is a three-year-old Yorkie who lives with us in New Jersey. He loves to play, run, and jump. He has severe separation anxiety, which can make it hard to leave the house. He loves to eat carrots, chicken, and strawberries, and he recently tried cucumbers, which he also seems to like.
When Nico came to us, his name was actually Hua Hua, which means flower in Chinese. His owner told us his American name was Brownie, but he did not know that name very well. Through lots of playing and experimentation, we found out he knows how to roll over, sit, and give high fives. Though he is small, he loves to sit on top of the couch and look out the window and watch out for rabbits, squirrels, and birds that enter the yard. And he always lets us know when one is around! Though Nico can be a high energy dog, when he lays down he loves to lay next to his owners and have his head petted.
