Roxy is simply the best! I rescued her from the SNAP Rescue in San Diego. She came in as a stray and had a bow hot glued to her head. She had a scar for some time, but it is gone now.
As most dogs lovers know, Chihuahuas have a stereotype of yappy little creatures. Roxy is not your standard chi! She is the absolute sweetest and loves, loves, loves people. She sees someone walking by and start wagging her tail and she wants to say hi. She is great with kids as well. She comes to all of my daughter Grace's softball and soccer games and the kids enjoy that. I really think she could be a therapy dog due to her unconditional love for people.
Recently I decided to teach her how to surf. She has potential! She is a smart dog and very loyal.
Roxy has two Chihuahua siblings - her twelve-year-old sister Vindaloo and five-year-old brother Arty. She also has a feline brother although she is not too fond of cats. If you give any other dog attention, she will weasel her way in and steal all the attention.
Roxy is a total love muffin and a great fit to our family. We went from a pit bull to a chi, so it is a bit of an adjustment but she is the perfect fit for us!!!!
