Meet Charlie! He is a mix of cattle dog and husky. My dad found him in the newspaper and somehow convinced my mom to get yet another dog! My sister and I had no idea what had happened until we went to the site to see him for real. We weren't sure if he would be good with our other dogs, so the next day when I was at school my mom picked him up to try him out. Sure enough, when I got home, there he was on a leash next to my mom.
We soon learned that, even though he was friendly with our dogs, there was no way to train him. We do not think he is stupid, just stubborn. But that is just the negative side of him. He loves to cuddle up on my parents bed. He would be great at playing fetch if he actually knew how to play, though!
If you ask what human is his favorite, I would definitely say my mom. He does this weird thing were he kinda stands on his hind legs and puts his front legs on her own legs. And, oddly enough, he likes to suck on pillows and blankets! My dad says it's because he never got to finish nursing. But watch out! If theres a cat, rabbit, or even just a small dog in sight, he'll want to play tag! All in all, we love our handsome rabbit-chaser husky mix!!!
