This good-looking boy is Fjello. He's almost eight months old and his breed is a Gos d'Aturà Catala - Catalan Sheepdog in English. He lives in Aalten, it's a village in the Netherlands.
Fjello is our third dog. Our first was a Scottish collie, he lived to be 14 years and 9 months old. The second was also a Gos d'Aturà Catala, he survived to the age of 15 years and 5 months. When he passed away, we knew we needed a new family member.
We like sheepdogs and dogs with long hair. Sheepdogs are very clever, that's why we choose that breed. Fjello is a clown, when something is new for him, he's cautious and approaches it carefully. He's sweet, affectionate and everybody's friend. He likes to be outside, to run and to jump. He also likes other animals. And, as you can see, he loves a good patch of dirt to dig in! We can't imagine a life without him.
