Cotton is eight years old and is a black point Maltese. Cotton is the son I never had. He is such a momma's boy. I absolutely love him to pieces.
He is special as he was a Christmas present from my daughter at a time when I was at my lowest point. He went everywhere with me. He loves car rides. He knows how to sit, sit up, lie down and paw. He's still a work in progress, but aren't we all? He has a great personality and loves people and other animals. He follows me everywhere. He will run around the house if he comes in and can't find me right way. He does not like to share his mommy, though. Whenever someone tries to sit on my lap, he tries to guard it as if stating, "This is MY mommy!"
He loves to play fetch! The further the throw, the faster he goes! He has what we call a Napoleon complex - when someone comes in the house, he will follow them and bark until they pick him up and he can see them eye to eye. Then he is fine. Whenever we have guests over, they always try to take him with them. He is truly a joy to be around. Our family also laughs as he makes many different noises (dog, duck, pig and cat). And his biggest love is giving kisses!!
