This is our dog Rusty. He just happens to be the best dog we have ever had. We adopted him when he was about two months old from someone who had other dogs that were being cruel to Rusty. The owner told us he was a Lab but we knew better than that. The next day when we took him to the vet they laughed and said how is this possible? He is a Chihuahua and Lab mix. The look on peoples' faces when we tell them that is priceless!
He has two cat sisters that just want nothing to do with him. He loves his toys and has a million of them. He also loves to dress up as you can see from the picture above he has his tie on ready for Easter company. He loves to follow us around and has to be the center of attention when company comes over. He will let you know that he has to come first. Shortly after we got him he jumped off our deck in our back yard landed wrong and broke his front leg in two places. It was a costly surgery and the poor li'l guy couldn't run or do anything for two months. He took it like a trooper and acted like nothing happened. He also has an under bite which makes his bottom lip much bigger than normal. It just gives him some extra character! We couldn't have asked for a better dog and addition to our family. I don't know what we would do with out him!
