honey is a very sweet loving girl. She loves nothing more than playing fetch, swimming, and hanging out with kids. What makes her special is her love for the camera! Honey is the most photogenic dog and enjoys dressing up and being the center of attention.
I like to say Honey was Heaven sent. Seven years ago I was taking my little brother and sister to a movie at the mall, every time we would go to the mall we always stop by the pet store. However, this day turned out much different than the others, we walked in and I saw the cutest "miniature golden doodle." After playing with her for a half an hour I knew she had to be mine. We rushed home and I transferred all of my graduation money into my checking account and went back to buy Honey! Later on to my surprise, she was shedding everywhere (so much for being a doodle- a non-shedding poodle mix). I never decided to look into what she actually was, but seven years later and she is still only 55 pounds, and very fluffy!
Honey has the personality of a Golden, she is very sweet and loyal and loves to cuddle, she sleeps on the foot of my bed every night, and sits on my head every morning after the second snooze to wake me up. She is well trained and love to go hiking and camping because she does not have to be on the leash. Honey is also very sassy, when I leave town she makes sure everyone know how upset she is and once I return home and she loves me for five minutes, then she ignores me for the next 24 hours.
My favorite thing about Honey is how she greets me and guests. Everyone know when they walk in our house to prepare for the "Honey whine." Whenever someone come into the house she has to put something in her mouth (usually a shoe) and she makes a high pitch noise over and over while shaking her butt in excitement.
I have always had dogs growing up, but Honey is by for the best. Everyone we meets says they wish they had their own Honey.
