I bought Axel from a kind woman in Bedford, Pennsylvania. I am a Nursing student, but failed my last semester and simply felt like a failure. Dogs have always made me feel a certain love that I cannot describe. My dad, however, had no intentions of getting a dog. It took over four years for him to finally agree, and that's when I found Axel! He was born on October 26th, 2017. He's still quite young, rambunctious, and rips up anything he gets his mouth on.
He's still special to me, however. He's very smart and has mastered tricks such as sit, down, up, touch, and paw. I do plan to teach him more. I'd love to teach him deep pressure therapy (DPT), or ways he can help me when I feel depressed and anxious.
Still, he has a long way to go. He will always have energy, no matter how far or long he runs. He'll run from room to room if you call him, the slide towards you on the kitchen floor. He's a goofball, troublemaker, and sometimes a pain in the butt - but I love him to pieces.
