Duke is our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is small, but full grown at eight years old. Duke has an amazing personality! He is the most affectionate puppy I have ever met. He loves to kiss and cuddle up with all of my friends and family. He is very sweet, and gets along with everyone. He loves adults, children, and other dogs. I've never met anyone who wasn't won over by his adorable face. Even the most tough and serious of people turn soft when they see him.
My favorite thing about Duke is that he can tell when I'm not feeling well. When I'm sick, he'll give me extra kisses to help me feel better. On days when I couldn't get out of bed, he stuck by my side. Though he typically has a lot of energy, he calms down on days that I'm not feeling well.
Duke loves to play. Since he's a small doggy in a family of tall people, we always are careful with him. I still find a way to wrestle with him. He loves playing catch and tug of war. He loves his squeaky toys, and can play with them for hours. As long as he has your attention, he is happy.
