We rescued Pep'r as a puppy out of a friend's flowerbed. We guesstimate her birthday to be January 28 so she will be three years old in just a day or two. She's so spunky and has her own little attitude. She curls her lip like Elvis and knows how to give the "stink eye" as well.
She really is a talkative dog. She's had a giraffe rattler since the beginning, that we call "Gigi" and even from a different room, she can distinguish between Gigi and say, a rope. She knows her human dad's ringtone and it totally seems like she understands English. She is super smart! Also, I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and every night at 9pm, my alarm goes off for medication. Pep'r can be in the other room and will coming running. She checks my hand (the # of pills,I think) and as i pop them in my mouth, she checks the floor to make sure i didn't drop any. Not to mention, her high spiritness has helped me do away with my cane for now. She's a true blessing and keeps us going.
