Chumina is a rescue. I was lucky to run into her on the streets of East Hollywood. She was less than one month old. She surly would not have survived the mean hot summer.
For a while I was not sure of her breed. After a DNA test, I now know she is predominantly Pondenco. She is a happy-go-lucky girl. She loves riding in cars. She enjoys sun bathing and chasing birds. Chumina is one of two family pets. Our other dog is a Cane Corso, who tolerates her sister.
Chumina is very playful. She loves exploring the back yard. She barks at everything that moves, and in doing so, she tires herself out. She can sit on command. That is about the only time she is still.
As a proper California girl, Chumina is good at outdoor restaurants. She likes other dogs and people watching.
I love my baby.
