Digby is our friend. He goes in the car with me to work, and when I make my deliveries everyone says "There goes Digby!" He was just supposed to be a foster but we found him a home and they sent him right back because he missed us too much and he chewed up the trim on all their doors. "Here comes Digby!" we all said.
He loves to play with his friend Lylah the black Lab mix and to chase all the cats around. He loves to play fetch in the backyard and I run full speed after him, and to pick all the raspberries off the bushes and find apples on the yard floor. He loves to sit on the couch and watch tv with me, and look through the neighbors' compost pile. Easter is his favorite holiday because he wants to get that ham, he must get that ham.
Digby is a gentle giant who has lots of energy and loves to run off exploring. We can’t imagine what life would be without him, would a life without Digby even be a life? I shudder to think of what that would be like. But for now we just say "Here is Digby!"
