Trinity is my dog. She was originally my stepfather's dog, but he couldn't take care of her after my two baby siblings were born. At the time my mom was working at home, so he was the only one taking care of the kids. So instead of taking her to the dog pound, I took her in.
My stepfather originally found her abandoned on a street called Trinity. He tried everything to find her owners, but no avail. No tags and no name, so he named her after the street where he found her. Trinity is very well trained and for some reason never barks, expect on very rare occasions. I did wish Trinity would bark, it just worries me. She's very loving and even comforts me when I'm upset.
My stepfather is happy to see her with a family that loves her and that he can still see her when he visits. He didn't want to get rid of her, my mom did since she dislikes dogs. It was her loss, though, and my gain. I love Trinity very much.
