This is our dog Zoe, she is ten years old. We rescued her from the shelter. Not sure of her breed. Was told she was Australian shepherd. We think she has a hound look at times, so she is one of those beautiful guessing games.-
Zoe was a real handful when we got her, very active and verbal. We saw from her paper work she was adopted and returned within three days. She was only eight pounds and about eight weeks old when we brought her home. She would pee in her sleep, something our other two never did so we were worried and took her to the veterinarian, who told us she would out grow this. Besides this she tore holes in many bed covers - around three of them. Tore up toys - she was so different from her sister and brother.
We all are so glad we stuck with her through all her bad behavior because she is now the most loving, intelligent dog. She is still very active and athletic, but we don't let her get bored and love her to pieces.
