My dog, Missy, is the best. She is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is unique to her breed, because she has long hair. Under her ears, she has really long hair, which is naturally crimpy. She is very special to me and others. One unique activity she likes is riding our tire swing. She puts her front feet on one side of the tire and her back feet on the opposite side. Now you may think, we just stick her on the tire swing, and she actually hates it. But, she really does love it. Another thing she likes to do, is to look out our window. She can just lay there because the window goes all the way to the ground. Because of this, we are always alerted, when UPS comes. She also loves to chase our laser. She will chase it forever. All we do is shine the light, and she runs around biting the carpet trying to catch it. Missy even swims in our pool and has her own life jacket. She won't jump in from the side, she has to get on a raft, then jump in the water. Something else she loves, is playing in the snow. She will jump up, and catch snowballs in her mouth. When the snow gets deeper, she has to hop like a bunny, around in the snow because of her short legs and long body.
Missy is definitely a people dog. If you are in the same room with her, and you leave, she is sure to follow. Missy loves attention. If we are reading, she will sometimes shake her bone from side to side, and throw it up in the air to get our attention. Missy is a loved, caring, and spoiled dog. We are lucky to have her.
