This second picture was taken just before Christmas. I caught him in mid-bark - barking for a treat. That's how I got him to sit still to take the picture.
We got him last November from the SPCA and he's a big baby (100 pounds). We named him Cuddles because he whimpered in the car on the way home, but I was able to comfort him by putting my head next to his, whispering in his ear "I love you baby", and stroking him. Whenever he got nervous he put his head next to mine for cuddling and comforting.
He loves popcorn, grapes (in limited quantities of course, as they aren't good for dogs) and apples. His favorite position is on his back, legs spread waiting for a tummy rub. He's a big teddy bear and he travels with us to our beach house whenever we go. In fact, he balks at leaving; he's a beach bum too.
This dog is just super - loving and friendly to everyone and great around kids and older adults - he loves my Mom! He is great on a leash and thoroughly loves being in the house with us.
