His name is Oscar and he is 11 years old. He is, of course, a Dachshund. He also has a friend I rescued from an animal shelter named "Junior." Oscar has been with us since he was three months old. He is so playful, loves to tease, and has a special red ball he loves above all other toys. He goes where ever we go, and loves to ride in the car.
Oscar has Cushing's disease, which is something his breed is prone to, so we give him medication for it to keep him healthy. That said, he is still and will always be a playful, happy, puppy. :) Here he's wearing his Uncle Sam hat to wish you all Happy 4th!
