I adopted Reina last year when I met her while volunteering at a rescue center. At first I thought she looked a bit rough but she turned out to be a real gentle, loving soul. She is approximately four years old, and is a Border Collie, Staffordshire Terrier, Bulldog, Whippet, etc. mix.
Although she has a past as a pigdog, she has never hurt another animal and can even have baby chicks and ducklings sleeping on her. She loves walks and adventures, she has endless energy. If she goes sprinting, you have to make sure to get out of the way as she is a bit slow on the brakes. She will also do anything for food which makes training easy but can be problematic if she finds any rotten eggs in old duck nests.
The thing she loves most, though, is cuddles. Once you start patting her, she will never get off you. As someone who has wanted a dog since they can remember, I'm so thankful to have her as my first and she makes a great constant companion.
