This is Layla, and she is a purebred American Pitbull Terrier. I am honoring her espcially because I just want people to know these dogs are not monsters.
Layla is a big lover and would be happy to lay in your lap for a belly rub. (She thinks she is small enough to fit in any lap.) She loves everyone she will do no more than lick you to death.
I have a soccer ball that was once inflated - she popped it now loves to run around shaking it left and right, kind of like she is cuddling with her smurf doll. She knows her basic commands, come, sit, stay, down, no, heel, and she knows shake. I just point at which paw and she will shake with that one then point at the other and she will shake with the other. When it comes to treats, I can and do put a biscuit in my mouth and she will ever so gently take it from my mouth. She's the silliest, and the best.
