Let me introduce you to someone special. This is Fritz. He is a registered miniature Schnauzer (Atteberry Fritz von Burgin) and came to us thirteen years ago as the runt of the litter from a kennel. I have had dogs all my life but Fritz is by far the best. He loves his family with all his heart and takes good care of us all. He loves to play fetch with anything you will throw for him, but especially his miniature soccer ball. He can sit up, shake hands, high five, roll over, and play dead when you shoot him with your finger.
As with most dogs, he has assumed certain responsibilities around the house. He is the official family greeter and Fritz must greet anyone who comes to the door but is very friendly about it. He is in charge of house and lawn security and takes his job very seriously. He keeps the mailman from breaking in the front door every day (at least he thinks so) and he scares off the garbage men from stealing our "stuff" (or so it seems to him). His manners are impeccable and even though he is small (14 pounds) he has the heart of a lion. He asks for so little and has given us all so very much. He is dearly loved by his mom and dad and his two brothers and has enriched our lives immeasurably.
