Harley Jean Schuster is a Border Collie. Her story begins with us at just a few months old. We lived in a neighborhood that had a lot of kids, including our seven-year-old son. Harley was the only dog in the neighborhood and from the very beginning was everyone's protector. She would go nuts when a stranger came to our house like a lot of pets do but then we noticed any unfamiliar person or car in the area got her attention. She was looking out for the whole neighborhood!
She has always been so eager to learn and please. She is such a smart dog and the best protector we could ask for (except when she's busy doing yoga as you can see from the pictuess). Harley turned 14 years old this fall and that hasn't slowed her down a bit! She's still chasing squirrels and jumping up in the back of the truck to go for a ride. She loves cheese, ice cream and being my shadow. Harley resides with me, my husband and her younger border collie mix sister, Violet in North Alabama, USA.
