This is Bóla (which means Bubble in English). She is half German Shepherd and half Border Collie, and is our farm dog. With two herding breeds in her genes, and plenty of energy, she is a dog who loves having a "job" - and she takes protecting her farm and family very seriously! She may look mostly like her German Shepherd side, but the Border Collie genes make her even more energetic, we think. Some of these pictures are from when she was one and a half, some when she was three, and four - she still looks the same, just a bit more grey on her face these days.
Bóla is a loved member of the family. She is such a good girl, she welcomed our younger dog, Loki, when he arrived as a puppy, and kept him in line when she felt he was being too rambunctious! She is very playful herself, and will fetch almost faster than you can throw. She keeps track of all the dogs, humans and other animals here. She is not only beautiful, but smart, and an important part of the pack, the farm and the family.
