This is the Princess Sydney, an eight-year-old pitty that was a rescue from the Shelter in Los Angeles.
We got Syd when she was about two years old and were told that was found withsix puppies that couldn't be saved. She functions as a clock, 6:30 am is face time, you must be up. 9:00 is exercise time, must walk fast and stop frequently for rolls in the grass. 10:00 am is nap time, 12:00 is mail box time, 4:30 pm is time to tell you that dinner is at 5:00 pm.
5:01 is after dinner walk and neighborhood meet and greet. 6:00 pm is PBS NewsHour and belly rubs. 9:00 pm is neighborhood watch. 10:00 is bedtime. She does not like daylight savings!
Syd is so special, and not at all "scary' like some people think of pitbull terriers. Anyone can pet her and she will check on small child for hidden Cheerios. She is truly the best dog ever. But she will not share her sofa with guests, you may sit on the floor.
She loves retirement in Daytona Beach and so do her humans.
