Cash (named for Johnny Cash) was found as a stray puppy in Flint, MI by his mom's high school acquaintance. When her landlord said the puppy had to go, his mom stepped up and took him in. The two have been inseparable ever since! While Cash loves his other family members, he is a momma's boy through and through!
He is fiercely loyal and incredibly gentle, but has had to work through his initial fears and reactions when encountering new dogs. He doesn't love to make new friends, but he and his dog-brother are a dynamic duo and love to spend their time cuddling and playing together. Cash is extremely patient (saint-like) with his rambunctious little dog-brother who can be a bit bossy.
Cash loves cozying up and being as warm as possible. He loves heat and needs his humans to let him know when too much time at the heat vent has passed. However, he prefers crisp autumn weather for walking. He also loves watching out his front window for squirrels, eating as many sugar snap peas as he can get hold of (pictured: Cash and his brother wait anxiously for sugar snap peas snacks), enjoying a nice frozen stuffed Kong from time to time, and following his mom around like a shadow. He is the best boy and so very handsome!
