Harley is two years old in this picture, though he is a bit older now. He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, and lives happily in Rhode Island - down the Atlantic coast from his breed's foundation in Canada's maritime provinces. The beach is a favorite place - room to run, water to jump in, and things to sniff everywhere! We have his mom dog, so have known him since befiore he was even born.
Harley is a classic Labrador - he loves the water, any water will do. He also loves to retrieve, a ball, a stick - anything you care to throw, he will happily retrieve. Your arm is guaranteed to run out before he is tired of it, it is what he was born to do, after all. He has his alm, cuddly moments, too - here he is with his favorite teddy, which he will carry around to nap with. He is friendly to all, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and readily took to the new kitten, Keebler, as you can see, as his friend and protogee, He is just a very special boy, and we all love him.
