Max is a special dog because he is very loving. He enjoys running around and playing hide and seek (though he likes to be the seeker). He has a huge facination with his food and will tend to make a mess out of the floor, dragging the bowl with him down the hall. He knows how to sit, situp/beg, paw, jump up, and lay down. When playing he will roll around the floor and usually snort like a pig. When he escapes our house (rarely) he would stay around the area or run back in.
As for his personality, he's very smart and a cuddler. Even for his old age it never seems to slow him, even when chasing a tennis ball. He's very spoiled and is considered the big baby. He loves everybody except other dogs sometimes. Never showed aggression torwards people.
