Our Lhasa Apso is named Buckeye, named for the Ohio State mascot, which is in turn named for the nut! It is also a candy that looks like the nut, and he is every but as sweet as that chocolate and peanut butter confection. He is eight years old and was a rescue dog - though how he ever ended up homeless is a mystery to us, as we could never imagine anyone not wanting him!
He is such a good boy - and was even patient enough to wear sunglasses for his photo. We all know how important sunglasses are in Florida, after all. Buckeye loves to fetch - despite being a "non-sporting breed" dog, and also loves to watch Ohio State football. We love him very much, and are glad to be his "fur-ever" home.
