Our labrador retriever, Kyra, is like most labs and just wants to have fun. Kyra's idea of fun includes chasing our two cats, squirrels, and her kong toy over and over again.She will retrieve it as long as you will throw, and we have not yet found a human who outlasts her!
She has the bad habit of dropping her slimy kong into the lap of unsuspecting guests in the hopes that they will play with her. It is a sure-fire gauge of character, you gotta admit that! Non-dog-lovers tend to be less than charmed, which confuses her.
Kyra is a very affectionate dog and is always close by me. At age five she is still quite the puppy and I doubt she will ever calm down, which is just fine with me!
