This is a photo of Mandy, our one-eyed wonder dog. Mandy is about eleven and a half years old now. She is a mixed breed of Black Lab, Miniature Schnauzer and Shetland Sheepdog, though most people think she's a mini poodle! She is a U.S. resident calling Des Moines, Iowa home.
The last of the litter of pups, Mandy captured our hearts with her playful antics. Despite her age, she still has those playful puppy tendencies. She was born with only one eye, but she doesn't know any different and has overcome the challenge quite well. We just think of it as her permanent wink, which suits her playful nature perfectly!
