Kramer
is a true character. His favorite pastimes are harassing the
cats, scratching himself, playing with his "duckies" (my
slippers that look like stuffed ducks) and his King Kong toy. He
loves the water and fetches sticks and rocks until he drops. He can
fetch the paper for us in the morning without too much slobber or
tearing.
He loves getting into the garbage, and eating anything that smells
remotely of food, such as plastic and tin foil. He then spreads it
around the kitchen floor, and when I find it and yell, he flips on
his back and cowers. Pathetic. He once ate a plastic produce bag and
dropped ten pounds before we figured it out. Just when I'm convinced
he's the stupidest dog on earth, he does something smart, like opens
the door for the cats and shuts it behind them.
Kramer is very friendly and affectionate. He loves children, people
and others dogs. His best friend is a pit bull named Zack. They
wrestle for hours, knocking over everything in their path. He
occasionally brawls with other males who come too close to his stick.
He loves to lie on me, or sit in my lap, even though he's 95 pounds.
He usually settles for leaning on my leg. My boyfriend and I adore
Kramer, and give him plenty of attention and belly scratching. We
hope to breed him someday, so we can have a puppy just like him.
