Dozer
is a wonderful pet, lovable, sweet, not the sharpest knife in
the drawer, but a perfect pet for us. In this picture Dozer is giving
a "wink!" Dozer is the sweetest dog anyone could ever want!
We have a very high four poster bed with about 18"
clearance from the floor to the mattress. One morning as I was
leaving for work I was looking for Dozer, could not find him
anywhere. I looked in front and back yards, down the street,
neighbor's yard, ect... After 20 minutes of searching I walked into
the bedroom and said out loud in a fit of frustration, "Where could
Dozer be?" Then I heard a little whimper, looked under the bed and
sure enough there he was! He had some how slipped under the bed but
could not get out, so I used a cookie and he finally came to me and I
got him out. The next morning as I was getting ready for work, you
guessed it , I could not find the dog, low and behold he was under
the bed again....of course wanting a cookie for hiding so well.
Bulldogs generally are good guard dogs, but not
good watch dogs, in other words he will not walk the gate line and
bark at everything he sees. He is great with kids and loves other
animals. We have a Kitty named Smokey (she is a Russian Blue) and she
cleans his eyes and ears for him - quite the sight to see.
