This
is Chugach (pronounced Chew-gosh; the name of a mountain range
in Alaska) at two months. He's about one year old hyperactive doggie
now. We think he's Doberman Pinscher and Pit Bull. A little ironic
since he's in love with everything and everyone. We live in Santa
Cruz, California, which makes it easy for him to learn to love the
water and frisbees.
He's very special to us, not only because he's our first dog, but
because we got him from the local SPCA a couple days before the rest
of his litter was euthanized. They contracted what the SPCA thought
to be distemper, but later found out to only be kennel cough. So, we
feel lucky to have such a great companion around.
