This
is Remington. He is a four-year-old American Golden Retriever. We
got him from an office co-worker two years ago and our house hasn't
been the same since. He is the most friendly dog that we've ever seen
or had. He hardly barks (except when someone rings the door bell) and
he takes all the pulling and tugging little children give him with
stride.
He is a very good swimmer. Every summer, we would go down to the
beach and he would just head straight to the waters. We would throw
him a tennis ball and he would fetch it. We would do this for hours
and he wouldn't even tire. He loves the snow and he just rolls in it
in the winter time.
Every time we come home, he would greet us by having a shoe in his
mouth, sometimes even a shoe and one of his many tennis balls. We
tried to teach him to fetch our slippers instead but it doesn't seem
to be working.
