Sandy
and Jake were adopted in January 1997 from the Arizona Humane
Society. They didn't know each other before coming to live at our home,
but they quickly have become best buddies (with the occasional spat
thrown in!)
They love to play, take walks and go for rides in the car. Jake is king
of the back yard, and Sandy is queen of the house.
Jake loves to chase his tennis ball. He seems to think of the ball as
his pet, taking it with him wherever he goes - including chasing birds.
He doesn't seem to understand that he's never going to catch one with a
ball in his mouth! Sandy is always giving us kisses. She loves to chew
rubber bones and especially sheepskin squeaky toys. She also keeps the
yard "safe" from lizards.
They are a lot of fun and have quickly become rulers of our household
and our hearts!
