Cody
is a beautiful dog. He is intelligent and very obedient. He
learns very quickly. Cody's best feature is his personality. Shelties
are notoriously shy, but not Cody. He is cautious when first confronted
with something new. But he very quickly investigates and adapts. He
gets along very well with children, adults and other pets. He is a
friendly, personable dog. I talk to him all the time and I'm sure he
understands quite a lot of what I say. He responds to my moods with the
appropriate reaction. He sometimes watches TV, especially if someone is
whistling. When he hears the Andy Griffith theme and the Wal-Mart
commercial (the one with the yellow dot lowering prices and whistling
while he's doing it) he sits mesmerized. It's very funny to watch. He
also likes to play with his own reflection. He is a truly amazing
puppy! He is also quite large for a Sheltie. At six months old he weighs
31 pounds! I'm really hoping he doesn't get much bigger.
