Katie
is certainly worthy of the title Man's Best Friend. She
possesses a disposition closer to that of a pussy cat than a guard
dog. Her main qualities are her fun loving, adorable nature and her
desire for loads of attention and affection. Katie loves a game of
fetch in the back yard, a rompe through the woods, or simply curling
up by her owners' feet and chewing her favorite bone.
Katie was a life-long dream of my wife. When we were married she
asked only one thing, that I buy her the German Shepherd she always
wanted. I had a real fear of large dogs, shepherds in particular!
Eventually the pressure was too great to resist, and about a year
after we were married I gave in and purchased the dog. I did,
however, refuse to accompany my wife to the airport to pick up the
dog.
When my wife arrived home, she placed this beautiful puppy in my arms
and I was defenseless. Since that day we have been best friends and
constant companions. The only time we are apart is when I am at work.
Katie is a very gentle dog who is excellent with children and people
who are intellectually challenged. She loves going for a romp through
the woods. But most of all she just enjoys spending quality time with
her dad!
